Line would be the same as everyone elso with proprietary variations. Terminals same thing. Grips appear to function like Doppelmayr's DS series- anyone have more experience with these lifts?

Normally it's in a normal building.

Skis-on cabs: works like a bubble chairlift, but with really uglier chairs!

Did they not have grip ramps on the C-S detachable grip, or are they just not there on that model?

The pallaup western washington fair gondi is a Von Roll that was moved from the Seattle World's fair. I believe Wildcat's was the last c-s gondi to operate in the US in 2000. Interestingly enough it was also the first! I don't know if there are any C-S gondis operating anywhere for that matter. Mabey somewhere in Italy.

You beat me to it, Dave, I was about to post the same thing. You're not from Washington, are you? It's 'Puyallup'- one of our better city names along with Sequim (pronounced 'skwim'), Wakhiakum, and Enumclaw B)

Nope, I'm a Jersey boy! We have some native american towns as well like Ho-ho-cus and Hoboken, your towns probably smell better however. :---:

I know that this is off topic but does anybody know where there are still fixed grip Carlevaro Savio lifts still in operation? The reason I ask is because we have a field full of parts that we are looking to get rid of.....I would like to find someone that could use them rather than see it all go for scrap.

Thanks

Dave has pictures of ski areas that stll have Carlevaro Savio lifts. Maybe you can browse his site, chairlift.org and get info that way. But who knows, maybe some resorts have already removed their Carlevaro lifts.

Yes I am familiar with Daves site (thanx). I think that you could be right about the lifts already being retired :( But I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Sugarbush has 2, although modified. Bosquests has one also modified. Mohawk has 4, I'm sure they would like them and they are nice and close to you guys. If you don't mind putting aside a few parts for the museum I can come up in the next couple of weeks and I can get butternut a 501c3 tax write off from the NESM.

Also windham has one changed to a triple by ctec that I think uses some c-s sheaves. I would say Mohawk is the best bet as their 4 lifts aside from the carriers appear to be all c-s.
