No, it was called Lift Destroyers and it was removed from YouTube for obvious reasons.

Well I'm sure it was similar to what was done here when Mountain Creek removed the old Sojourn Lift. Also, does anyone know how to embed a video because I can't figure out how and it has been done elsewhere on this site.

Maybe they took down the terminals that way and intend that the parts be reused on other lifts that need them.

We also all know where Berthoud Pass's fixed grip quad went - Berkshire East. And their triple, last I heard, went to some place in Iowa.

The triple went to Mad River Mountain, Ohio

Crystal Mountain (WA)-- old chair 2 went to Antelope Butte, WY. I believe chair 5 did as well. Chair 9 went to Big Sky, and chair 11 (Midway Shuttle) is at Loup Loup, WA. The rest were scrapped.

There's a running tally of removed ski lifts in New England at NewEnglandSkiHistory.com:

Does anyone know what became of the Carinthia Double at Mount Snow, VT? It was a Riblet that was only 14 years old when it was removed to build the Poma Nitro Express Quad.

Sugarbush Green Mountain Express (The original Poma) moved to North Ridge Express (GMX Replaced with Leitner Poma Highspeed Quad)

Loon's original gondola wasn't scrapped. The towers were re-used but the line equipment, stations, and cabins were relocated to Lutsen MN in 1988 and the lift remains in operation, although it is slated for replacement next summer.

Also the West Basin I and West Basin II chairs were not completely kept at Loon. As per the links above, portions of those lifts went to Smugglers Notch to build the Morse Highlands double.

The old Adirondack Express from Gore Mountain has been completely removed. It has been scrapped and nothing will be reused. It was an old lift and a Von Roll high speed triple, so it was sort of an oddball and there are no other lift like it out there. It actually was built after Von Roll bought out Hall, so it has Hall towers and chairs, but Von Roll everything else. It is being replaced with a Poma high speed quad that will open this December.

The Northstar Express from Okemo was broken up for parts. The terminals and chairs were used to upgrade the Sunbowl Quad at Sunapee to detachable. The Sunbowl Quad was also broken up for parts as the towers are being reused, but with Northstar's detachable equipment. Because Northstar's towers were not reused for the new 6-pack and were removed, I speculate that they will split the remaining lift parts into the two South Face Village lifts. I heard elsewhere on this site that the rest of the Sunbowl Quad is going to be reused to convert the North Peak Triple at Sunapee to a quad.

Hey, wait a minute, Burlingame was a Steamboat lift and probably a YAN

Burlingame was a Snowmass lift. Riblet Double. http://www.skilifts..../burlingame.htm

You might be thinking of the old Burgress Creek lift that was a Miner Denver (with Yan modifications), and replaced with a Poma Tripple.

I am going to list what happened to Killington's lifts that have been removed.

The 1st Killington Double from 1960 was replaced by the 2nd Killington Double in 1975. It was relocated to the Needle's Eye area that season and was removed and scrapped in 1996 to make way for the Needle's Eye Express.

The 2nd Killington Double was removed in 1998 to make way for the K1 Gondola. It was 23 years old when removed, so not that old for a fixed grip. It had a weird chair design with CTEC chair frames and Hall seats. The only other lift that has those chairs is the Mountain Run Double at Whiteface. I think that this lift was scrapped, but it was only 23 years old, so something may have become of it. I don't know what its actual fate was.

The Devil's Fiddle Quad was taken out of service in 2008, but it has not been completely removed. The towers are still up with the cable and chairs removed. It was 24 years old when it was taken out of service, so it will probably be scrapped when it is completely removed especially because it is a Yan and those aren't relocated much anymore.

The Skye Peak Quad was removed in 2008 to make way for the Skye Peak Express. Poma reused the Yan towers on the new lift, so I am pretty sure the rest was scrapped since it was a design not used anymore and the towers were reused.

The South Ridge triple was scrapped in 2011 when it was removed. It was 33 years old. Some of the towers are still there.

The Ramshead Double was most likely scrapped when it was removed in 1996.

I don't remember too much, but I think the Devil's Fiddle Quad's top station was made into a one-of-a-kind top station bar, correct me if i'm wrong?
