They have to be replaced every so many years or if you have all original like my area did from 95 they wear out then you have sloppy rockers. Seem like they were starting to wear then by mid winter we had to change out several that really got sloppy on our compression towers if it starts leaning you will get tower faults from the cps. All the compression towers will have new rubber bonded bushings this year. And will be getting support towers on a schedule so we don't have this happen again. There is some benefits of these no grease in the towers and less chance falling on people, more line dampening, when changing sheave the rockers don't flop around. I guess you win some you lose some. I will post pics of some worn ones almost 20 years old don't know how they lasted so long but way worn some fell out without having to press them they got so bad. Like not having to grease that lift but when these things start to go they go.
