Congradulations Dave.

For some reason, I thought you and her have been engaged for a while now. I mean you did take her to Europe. Anyway, the hard part will to make her like aerial lifts. :)

She actually took me to Europe, she is from Germany. That is why I used to live in Trier. We have actually been together for 6.5 years now so it was about time. Scary stuff! Thank god she likes skiing as much as me! She even puts up with my chairlift expeditions!

See now thats the type of wife I need. Which vending machine did you find her in. ;) Kidding... actually Europe is a nice place to meet them (so I have heard...).

Congrats Dave... Maybe I will have to send you a Riblet chair for your wedding gift. :)

   Congratulations Dave! I wish you the best- Bill's comments aside
marriage is actually pretty cool. Of course, Lizz skis and used to work on lifts, so maybe I don't count. When is the wedding planned?

Bill actually has several Riblet carriers, Grant; he posted photos of them a while back.

Congratulations, Dave! Great news.

Now, the big question.... can you talk your future bride into getting married on a lift? How about having the ceremony at a top unloading station, with her dad giving her away by riding beside her up the mountain on the chairlift?

Oh, and don't go for one with a mid-station.... you don't want to get cold feet and bail out mid-ride!

Cheers!

Steve

Good idea, get her aboard a gondola and have them stop on the highest point. :---:
