Bonanza is back up and running today, so it must not have been as serious as last time around. Most of the rest of their lifts are on wind hold today, so it's a good thing.
2005 and 2006, all three six packs went down with the same Kissling gearbox issue, and they removed what they needed from McConkey's to run the other three. They replaced the gearboxes on all four and King Con the next summer. The link is the letter that PCMR and DoppelmayrCTEC sent out to passholders that summer.

Articles about Payday going down in 2006. Bonanza first had trouble in 2006 too, and Silverlode in 2005, each 9 years after they were built.

McConkey's being a six pack is serious overkill for the terrain it serves (unless it was built in anticipation of the Deer Valley connection someday) but having it be mechanically identical to their three main six packs sure helped those years. I really hope it's not the same issue as last time around.
The first and only time I tried out night skiing at PCMR was that season, in late March 2006, about two weeks after Payday opened back up with the McConkey's parts. A little alarming to ride Payday in the complete darkness right after that happened, especially with the missing upper terminal skin to remind you of the temporary parts up top. The six packs all have a new underside terminal skin to accommodate the larger new Caterpillar parts.
