Bonjour, Hello,

I’m a French man and I've been participating in the past 7 years ago to the very popular French website “remontees-mecaniques.net”, a community home to more than 3,400 members :
http://www.remontees...s.net/index.php

We also have a Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/remontees

We are the leading French language website about cable-car systems, including ski lifts. We frequently post technical reports with photos on lifts from all around the world. Currently, we have around 4,800 of those reports, from 40 different countries in each of the five continents.

You can see some of the reports we make here :

Worldwide:

Ski lifts and other cable-car systems in the U.S.:

I'm registrer in Skilift.org since a couple of years, but I can not participate a lot. My english is not good, and it's not easy to understand all, because I don't know well the US mountains.

So, I'm just landing in Utah (but not my ski-bag... LOL 24h of delay for it...), and I'll do a tour in Utah and Colorado for ski, ski and ski.
But, I'll take a lot of pictures of the lifts systems in all the mountains I'll visit.

This is just a voluntary occupation, which allows to present the ski resorts of the world on the internet websites.
I have already contacted 2milehi (Mike) for a visit in Keystone's lift and Lifmech (John) for a visit to Copper Mountain.

I think make a route like this :

31/12: Canyon Resort
01/01: Park City
02 and 03/01: SnowBird
05/06 and 07/01: Telluride
08 and 09/01: Durango
Sunday 12 in Frisco for 8 or 9 days to ski all stations around.
22/23 and 24/01: Steamboat
26 to 29/01: Utah (Alta, Snowbasin, Powder Mountain)

This would be a great pleasure to meet someone of Skilift.org passion for skiing or visit a particular lift system.
Contact me if you have any advice as this is the first time I come to visit and ski Colorado!

Happy new year, good skiing and fun !

Rodo

I do like the photos you took last season of Park City's high speed six packs. I think you're still missing King Con, though, over there. I wonder if you could consider adding Deer Valley to your list, given that you'll be in the Park City area.

In Colorado, I am aware that remontees-mecaniques.net is a bit behind on up-to-date photos of those resorts. Namely, the Vail gallery lacks entries for the three lifts built in the 2010s: Gondola One, the Mountaintop Express lift and the High Noon Express lift. The Breckenridge gallery does not yet have Zendo or the Kensho SuperChair (those are new lifts that just opened about a week ago for Peak 6), nor does it allow you to see the 2008 modifications to the Independence SuperChair or the 2012 replacement of chairs on the soon-to-be-replaced Colorado SuperChair. The Copper Mountain gallery is missing a number of lifts including Rendezvous, Blackjack, Mountain Chief, Kokomo, Lumberjack, the Union Creek high speed quad, and the Storm King T-Bar and Celebrity Ridge Platter.

You and I might actually cross paths in Breckenridge, as if I read your post correctly (it's kind of hard to interpret dates with your broken English), you plan on being in Frisco from January 12th through the 21st, and I am aware that I will be in Breckenridge from the 18th through the 21st.

Thanks Donald for your message,

Remontées-mécaniques.net is a website composed mostly of french and swiss. Thats why it is difficult to find all the U.S ski resorts, all the states, and the new lifts. But « step by step » we do yours best.
Skierdude9450 had presented to us (in french !) a few years there's some Colorado resorts. Today the quality of reporting to greatly increased. So it makes sense to « rewriting » the old reports.

I'll stay 8 or 9 days in Frisco and I go skiing in the area, without precisely planned ski resorts. But it is clear that I want to go skiing in Breckenridge and shooting the new lifts.
(I’ll also go to Copper Mountain, Keystones, Arapahoe Mountains, ect ...)

So : see you in Breckenridge saturday 18th or Sunday 19th ?

Utah: yes I think Deervalley ... If I’ll have enough days.

rodo, quick note to say I love the RM site and have visited it many times. As for your English, very good so please do not fear being misunderstood - I probably understand your English better than you would my high school Quebec French! :)
