Cool to watch the video about Park City's 50 years anniversary. Old gondola color cars (so beautiful) and old chairlifts. Cool!

Thanks for posting. Anyone been up there yet this year? They said on Facebook that they painted the 50th chair gold on some of the lifts

Steamboat did that last year on all the lifts. Took me awhile to put 2 and 2 together but once I did, I thought it was a neat idea.

You have pictures of it as applied at Steamboat? Vail also did it to one cabin on Gondola One and that can be seen in this video I made: https://www.youtube....h?v=r6RKsoyCIss

I was up there on Friday, but I didn't notice any gold chairs. I could of missed it but I'm pretty sure I would have noticed. Payday, Bonanza, and First Time were open. I didn't see any gold painted chairs on any of them.

Haven't tasted it yet, looking forward to trying one. The Alta 75th anniversary ale was brewed by Wasatch as well and it was pretty good too.

Mount Snow did that about 10 years ago. It was such a hit that they still keep them gold and even got 1 "golden" bubble for #50 on the Bluebird Express.
