Keystone Gondola mechanical issue?

I believe there are one or two of you awesome people who work at my favorite Colorado resort, Keystone. Have any info? It made the news :(

I'd wait for the "Official Response". I doubt you will see any unofficial information.
And why assume it was mechanical?

My Daughter and I were just up there yesterday. I bet those lines at the Summit chair were horrible, especially considering the chair has to be slowed or stopped top and bottom whenever someone downloads when the gondola is closed. I will definitely be interested in the details and anticipated reopening. Hopefully everyone is OK.

The lift was stopped for a whole 30 minutes... must have been a slow news day.

9News does have a reporter-at-large living in Summit County. I imagine they'd never have noticed if it wasn't for him.
