I believe I've found out what Breckenridge's new trail map might look like. It might look something like this: http://www.kevinmast...-ski-trail-map/

let's hope not, it's awful. Quicksilver doesn't start in the woods, not to mention the rest of that area (A-Chair/Mercury) is terribly represented, the whole 5/7/trygyve's portion of Peak 8 is also a mess. I could easily go on but hopefully in a week when they release the new trail map, this will not be it...

That's a KM Mastin map for you! He painted the new ones for Arapahoe Basin and Keystone a few years back, and they're absolutely awful. They pale in comparison to the mastery of James Niehues.

Well actually that was a map specifically for Breckenridge Grand Vacations. I found this photo on Twitter somewhere, which looks a bit better.

The Copper Bowl map noticeably doesn't make note of Celebrity Ridge platter's existence. Probably because of perspective, I wonder?

Here's Breckenridge's new trail map featuring Peak 6. A few things to notice: The fixed grip quad is the Zendo lift, or Lift Z if you want to shorten it, and the high speed six pack is the Kensho SuperChair. Additionally, Quicksilver on Peak 9 has been renamed from Quicksilver Super6 to just the Quicksilver SuperChair, the same name that the original quad had. There is also a new Ten Mile Zipline between the GoldRunner Coaster and the Twister trail near the top of Snowflake. http://www.breckenri...AILMAP_web.ashx

Sunday River's latest map. Most notable changes are the addition of T72, a new terrain park trail, and new glades Poppy Fields and North Woods. Also the expansion of the glades Chutzpah and Hardball.

Breck screwed up a bit on the new map. Zendo is noted as a high speed quad (Or superchair in Breck speak) in its line dashing & the map key (all other fixed grips have solid lines)

I think several other people have noted this. I think that is the only goof they made in the map. I wonder if it has something to do with the fact that all of the other quads are high speed quads, and Zendo is their first fixed grip quad. They got the legend right for the Kensho SuperChair, though. Personally, I think that Breckenridge could avoid this type of issue by just using a solid red line for all of its lifts, like Keystone does. At Keystone, you can tell Wayback is a fixed grip quad and the others are high speed quads just because it doesn't have 'express' in its name.

Mt. Bachelor's new map is actually several maps: http://www.mtbachelo...ience/trail_map
Included on the map(s) is the proposed new eastside lift & trail complex, which will add over 600 acres of new terrain... resulting in more than 4,100 acres total.

Vail has their 2013-2014 trail map out. However, the changes are very minor given that the Mountaintop Express lift and the Gopher Hill lift both replaced previous chairlifts and retained their predecessors' names.

There isn't much difference in this year's map from last year's map, other than that slow zones are now lightly shaded in yellow:

Mission Ridge, WA has a new map.
http://www.missionridge.com/trail-map

An interesting thing: Last year, mid-season, they opened a terrain park along the old rope tow at the top of chair 1, and managed to restore the old rope tow, which I am pretty sure hadn't been operated since the 90's. The thing was made almost entirely of wood. The old rope tow's tensioning system was completely broken, the haul rope actually dragged along the snow. This season, the rope tow was replaced. It doesn't surprise me, but there were absolutely no plans to replace it. It just spontaneously appeared this summer.

There are also two new runs down chair 1: a green and a blue.
