Rams head was shortened when they were building the HSQ. They wanted to turn it into a "family area" and they didn't want the steep blacks on top.
Sunrise was shortened because K-mart made a deal with the forest service (or some other government thing) that they would shorten the Northeast passage to create the Pico-K-mart connection
Skyeship was shortened when they installed the new gondola, I guess they didn't want two midstations.

If Killington didn't want as much traffic up on the peak then why do two chairs and a gondola end up there? Also does anyone have a map of killington around the 95 ski season before all of the replacement?

Love that chair, hysterical to watch bad skiers on that lift, they drop poles, gloves, hats, and even a ski once! :D I laughed so hard.

I know, the year I first went there was the year the New Killington had opened. Pico at least does not get smaller.

I heard a rumor that Vail Resorts was going to buy killington. I think that if they built a connection I think I would love it. Our friends have a ski-in ski-out houuse on pico and if the two were connected I would have killington in the backyard!
