Broken Water Line Washed Out Tower

At Boyne Mountain on Superbowl Run. Tower #7 and several trees, got taken down.

Somehow, i doubt they'll get that lift running again this year.

It reopened already, without the tower and loading at reduced capacity.

opened Sat....they are loading every other chair. The hole was still there today when I drove by. The tower was more of a 'line clearance" tower (lightly loaded). Everett wasnt a fan of heights and the lifts built in his time were lower profile, contour following lifts.

I skied boyne the day that the lift reopened. still missing tower 7. They removed the chair seats from every other chair to keep the lifties from over loading it. the hole has been partially filled in.and all pipes and the tower have been removed

did you note vert clearances in that area? during the acceptance testing to approve the recent "mod", would have been interesting to monitor clearances (e-stop at 50% loaded from full speed).
