Watch the video.

Notice the chairlift on left side. It is in Russia. What name is the ski resort in Russia?

Also the gondola fall in Russia. I wonder do you know about this?

Looks like Angel Fire NM in the video, they do a shovel race annually.

Right on, Vons!

Difference between regular race shovel and Russian: the latter has GLONASS.

Impressive video, but if anyone is really serious about making headlines (and a dent in this world), grab a wider shovel and try Vikersundbakken.

Interesting...

I am surprised the lift operator (Angel Fire Resort) allow the people with the shovel ride up the lift. Here in Utah all ski resorts don't allow people with shovel or seesight people ride the lift except only Deer Valley allows non skier people ride up and down the lift (Silver Lake Express and Jordonelle Gondola Express). All I know. I think Snow basin does, too.

The Race at Angel Fire is an organized event that only happens once a year.
Notice in the photos posted by member Razvan that they are wearing numbered bibs with the Angel Fire logo. I would imagine that they pay an entry fee and sign a release waiver.
