I took up recording chairlift rides two years ago as a form of art for a camcorder I got for Christmas.

On more than a few occasions, I've caught some weird things.

For example, I recorded this video at Keystone on the Ruby Express lift last Saturday: http://www.youtube.c...h?v=XY63IiNMG-M

When I'm loading, you'll see that there is a man with five children in front of me. Two attendants come over to hoist the kids into the chair, and although partially out of frame, apparently one of them slipped and fell into the pit area.

That same day, I also recorded the Peru Express lift: http://www.youtube.c...h?v=kT-tsJT3W5o

What I like about recording the Peru Express lift is that I have a different perspective to record skiers doing jumps in the A51 terrain park. You see people doing the jump lanes right next to the lift, and even a guy whose ski comes off after he does a rail and tumbles. For the park, you skip ahead in the video to the second combi tower after I crest the first big climb, which would be tower 13.

I think at some points I've caught a few people take falls on trails near the lifts while I'm recording them.
