Just downloaded your 5,301 song on your 64 GB cell phone and then you dropped it in a puddle or worse – this company is now touting a thin coating that will make electronic devices (cells and ipads etc) water resistant. The coating is applied as a gas in a sealed chamber and Liquipel says the device’s warranty is still valid. Originally advertized as “water proof”, it is now referred as “water resistant”. Youtube has a number of videos testing the product.

I take care of 12 iPads and 45 various phones for my company and just recently bought on of these for an employee that has "grip issues". I'm going to wait and see before I pass judgement but the plastic seemed more brittle to me from the otterbox products ( otterbox products have their own issues). Doing heavy civil work, we'll find out quick how well they do. The liquid coating spray is interesting to me, I'll have to try it on a test phone, I just have to look through our records and see which employees the most likely to get their phone wet.

Not to change the subject but we did start buying Bluetooth headphones for the field personnel and truck bosses and they work great, especially is your climbing. The headphones vibrate on your neck when you get a call and the ability to put both earpieces in loud environments is awesome. I highly recommend these.
