When the Summit Express at Winter Park was replaced with the Super Gauge Express, the original lift was relocated to Mission Ridge, Washington to become the Liberator Express.

The only photos on this site are two of the upper station being built, but I found this page with photos of the lift in operation: http://www.remontees...rtage-3850.html

(It's French, but you can always use Google Translate if you want)

Some photos from the site:

They kept the gantry towers at the bottom and the top:

The towers are the same, just that there is a juxtaposition of old and new stuff:

A Leitner-Poma tower:

An early 90s Poma tower:

Hahaha, it makes it more interesting and fun though! Sorry couldn't resist... :D
Chairlift n. A transportation system found at most ski areas in which a series of chairs suspended from a cable rapidly conveys anywhere from one to eight skiers from the front of one line to the back of another.

I've seen that much snow buildup on trees, and on the lift towers and lift terminals.

I corresponded with their maintenance manger many times about that thing (he's since moved on). It was better than the Riblet it replaced, but still. As for the rime, that's typical at the Ridge. We were lucky on the west side.

Mother Nature works differently there. I've seen trees that snow-covered in Steamboat, mostly off the Storm Peak Express lift but also around Morningside Park.
