Neil Armstrong died of complications after heart surgery - latimes.com

Wow - there's a milestone. I watched that moon landing footage live ... in Vietnam.

No more moon walks, no more Saturn 5, no more napalm. Nothing lasts.

Seriously, the man was a true hero ... and mine - along with Nikola Tesla.

As a space geek and being especially fond of the Apollo program, I was shocked to read the news about an hour ago.
Like the man was more than that, and this takeoff was not expected.

Godspeed, Neil Alden Armstrong!
