A father put his child into a front load washer for tease or fun, closed the door and realized the washer started to spin.

Bad idea!

I think the couple put money into three washers and put their clothes into two washers and plan to put clothes into big ones. They must be forgot and teased the child. Or someone put the money? Or "out of order" machine?

If the coins already are in, the washer autolock system and starts. Without the coins in, the washer won't start. I believe that because I used Laundromat front load washers a few times.

I should point out that Camden NJ, where this happened, is one of the two towns that we Jerseyites do not claim. The other one is Newark.
