One of our Lead Hand Millwrights, also our Senior Pyrotechnician, decided that it was time to propose to his girlfriend on the last saturday of the season.

Pretty damn impressive! I'd better not let my girl see this (she will want at least as much) .

When I proposed to my wife a few years ago, I had to work the next day.
Word traveled fast.
A buddy of mine, Jake, had told his girlfriend. She stopped by to say congratulations.

She also said "Do you think you could make an effort to spend more time with Jake and maybe rub off on him?"

If I had proposed with fireworks, he would have been livid because she would not only have expected a proposal, but one that had that much thought and effort put into it.
