I like the omega terminals but not the phat boy name. I do like how poma actually names thier terminals instead of Uni terminal.

I personally like the Phat Boy terminals, just not the name. Squaw's have to be some of the nicest lifts i have ridden. That ad though has to be one of the mosk corny things ever.
I agree, the new Pomas are really nice
UNI probably has something to do with 'one'

The independance does indeed have a stack. Also the mentioned above was that a resort was installing a 900 series quad. The E lift at copper which is an Omega is called a 1100 series quad. Straight from the Leitner Poma website.
These days Poma names the lift series after the speed, i.e. an 1100 series quad runs at 1100 FPM. The terminal names are something entirely different. I came across the construction blueprints for the Eagle a while back, and they called the terminal a 'TB-41 Integral' (I suppose that means the drive components are housed within the terminal instead of in a vault). Other original documents we have refer to the lift as a Competition. Go figure.

B, E- 1100
F, O-1- 1000
I- can run 1100 but then people fall getting off. Normal speed for that lift is around 950.
All speeds are subject to operational variations as per usual, so the lift may run slower on a given day.

On F (Eagle) Sally was the 2-day foreman, (Jared) Bella the 5-day. The foreman is in charge of operation on a given lift, and has discretion (to a certain degree) on the speed the lift runs. Vons was the 5-day on the Flyer, so we worked quite a bit together.
