The motor room for the old Devil's Fiddle quad is now a bar. Clever.

Climb aboard our cozy, heated snowcat and let us take you behind the scenes for an unforgettable, all-inclusive après-ski experience. Gather at the Roaring Brook Umbrella Bar, where you will board an enclosed-cabin snowcat. After a snowcat trip on the trails with no one but the groomers, you’ll arrive at the Motor Room Bar atop Devil’s Fiddle, located in the original drive terminal of Killington’s very first four-passenger lift.
The lounge has seating for just 10 people with much of the lift’s equipment still in place. Enjoy a selection of light hors d’oeuvres featuring local meats and cheeses with a glass or two of wine or fine spirits as you take in the views of Bear Mountain through floor-to-ceiling windows. As night falls, the snowcat will be waiting to usher you home under the stars.

To each their own, but you know if you're not a huge fan I'll GLADLY and immediately take any and all Yan stuff you run into off your hands for you :D

This is actually a pretty neat idea, I like it. Although I'd think it'd be maybe easier and smarter to take the motor room down, put it on the mountain somewhere and use it as they do those little yurt bars you see at some resorts like White Pass and what not. The whole 'private snowcat' etc thing seems nice, but the destination seems a tad odd for that, "yes we'll take you in a wonderful delightful snowcat, to drop you off in a cold drafty motor room." It'll be interesting to see how long this lasts...

I do like the re purposing of old motor rooms though, Bogus Basin for instance did a really nice job of coming up for a use for their old vault drive on Superior.

Seems sort of odd to have a two drink Maximum ...seems too conservative..maybe it is those steep stairs leading to the Motor room /bar .

My comment was made purely in fun and hope nobody took offense. Certainly none intended. We are hoping, however, to be free of YAN drive and control electronics this summer and will probably send them to a good home, but I think Bud will have first dibs.

Nice recycle on the ophouse as well..onto the back of the snowcat!

And looking closer, maybe the two drink limit is because of the deluxe on-mountain restroom facilities also in the photo.....

Oh certainly, I don't think anyone takes anything to seriously here, hope not at least... Hope you're replacing those YAN drive and control electronics with EMAX. And can't think of a better person to collect that stuff than Bud....
