What's the ski area in this new Subaru ad

It looks a bit like Whistler Creekside, but not quite. I'm sure someone here will recognize the exact area and lift.

On second thought, I agree. What confused me is that the picture is not taken from the very bottom, but rather from about the A marker on this image.

They just filmed the new Subaru commercial at Snow Valley, in Southern California. But that's obviously not a picture of it!

Ah, thanks..... I was wondering where that was! The ad's been in the local paper a few times.

On a unrelated note, the end is near. I mean the westerlies are about to break through and a shift to Zonal Flow will bring periods of precipitation to the Western States. What more could a guy ask for at Christmas?
