I saw one on KSL classified and I thought you would like to see the snowcast. It cost $249,000.

Question- Why did he buy a Bison?
Answer- Because he could.
Probably with a Bumper Sticker that says "My other toy is a G IV"

Seriously? One would think a snowmobile would have been a better choice, but I don't have any money so what do I know.

My other car is the $35 pair of skins I bought for my skis.

liftmech-
If you go to Alta during the winter, you will see various snow machines parked at the access to Albion Basin where there are quite a few private cabins. Most of them are Snow Machines of some sort (Cab Sprytes, Tuckers, etc) as they need to transport people + luggage + groceries +equipment +etc)...
but a Bison?

Some people drive a Chevy some people drive a cadillac at least until the bank forecloses on your cabin and you decide to try and sell it off. :-)

So how much is a 2009 Prinoth Bison Snowcat worth new? (both list price and typical price paid out the door)

This particular cat is not one of the Alta cabin cats. It is a very nice one though and would love to have it, but just a couple hundred thousand short right now.

I did not mean to say that this was a Alta Cat. I was just pointing out that there were areas in the West where Snow Machines were in use.
I figure this one is coming out of Wyoming....
