I have noticed that some chairlifts busilt by SLI seem to have cable clips rather than traditional grips. You can see this at Aspen on Shadow Mountain (1A), at 49 North on Bonanza (1), and at Telluride on Coonskin (8). The other SLI lift at Telluride, Oak Street (7) has traditional grips, though. My question is did SLI ever use cable clips or have all these lifts been retrofitted by Riblet with their clips at some point?
Thanks for any help.

Telluride's Coonskin Lift #7 built in 1975 is a SLI/Riblet crossbreed - SLI chairs and hangers, sheave assemblies; Riblet insert clips and motor room layout. 1975 was about the time that SLI assets were acquired by Riblet. The Oak Street Lift #8 is a SLI lift originally constructed in 1972 that was relocated by CTEC in 1985.

Did Riblet have some involvement with Stadeli too? The Bucksaw lift at Sugarloaf, Maine had Riblet clips.
