Steamboat repainted their Doppelmayr and Garaventa CTEC high speed quads over the past four years from an ASC blue to a new red and gray. I think the new scheme looks cooler and better (especially with little symbols next to the lift names in the new scheme), but which scheme do you like better?

My question is this: which paint scheme do you like better?

I like the new color scheme on all the lifts except Thunderhead. The aluminum frames of the windows looks funky.

The new paint is definitely a great improvement.

I think I like the new scheme better, especially on Pony Express, however I'm not a big fan of the way Thunderhead looks.

The design of the UNI-M terminal versus the UNI terminal might affect the way the scheme turns out.

Yeah, I'm not a big fan of the second generation UNIs. Usually I'm not a big fan of the Stealth 2s either, but the color scheme works for me.

Yeah, I don't really like Thunderhead's paint scheme either. I think they should have left it alone and just painted the others.

Of course then the lift would look very incongruous. Actually, I wonder what it would look like if it were given a different overhaul (to make it entirely red with a yellow stripe in the middle, like the Sunshine Express lift, make it entirely red or entirely gray, or put the red on the bottom and the gray on the top).
