Can't hurt to ask, right?

Does anyone know if any Colorado resorts/ski areas have volunteer positions in the lift maintenance field?

Also, is there a Pete L at Keystone that runs the lift maintenance?

Thanks,

Nick

Well Nick, I'm sure if you go to just about anywhere, talk to the right person, and want to volunteer. We can find some grease for you to sling...

Not that I know of. Liability issues.

Thanks, Towertop! But I have a feeling Dino is correct about liability, not being under their insurance, etc.

Thanks Dino. A friend from Keystone gave me his number.

Your best bet of volunteering would probably be at a small not for profit ski hill, there if you were a member of the community or corporation that ran the ski hill they would probably be thrilled to have unpaid labor...

Just a thought...

Well we happen to be self insured and I don't think it would be a problem here, besides I would keep a volunteer.... in the shop!

Since the OP asked about Colorado, I gave my observations towards that state.
DakarNick- if you want to buzz on down to AZ towertop will put you to work in the shop!
