The other day I was wondering what became of the former Little Chief lift from Deer Valley. Did it end up in the scrapyard, or did it find new life somewhere else? Same for Ski Team at Park City. The terminals are gone now, but the towers are still up.

Last question, where did the Short Cut lift at The Canyons come from?

I think there was a topic on this a few years ago, but a search didn't turn up anything

Short Cut was Arrowhead at Steamboat. Ski Team and Little Chief have not been installed anywhere as far as I know but they might turn up in the next few years.

- Moonbeam fixed quad from Solitude
- Payday triple from Park City (removed in 1997)

Going back a bit further for this, what became of:
WJW at Steamboat (removed in 1992)
B-1 at Copper (removed in 1998)

or going really far back:

Chair 16 at Vail (Yan double removed in 1985)
Chair 17 at Vail (Yan double removed in 1989)

With the exception of B-1, none of these chairs were very old (all <20years) old when they were removed.
Skiing since 1977, snowboarding since 1989

B-1 at Copper-- except for a couple of sheaves and the gearbox, we scrapped it.

Was it the old Powderhorn lift at Solitude that became Flat Iron at The Canyons?

Yes and no. The towers and terminals are still up but there is no haul rope.

Parts of the Ski Team(the terminals and sheaves) plus some of the remains from Payday (gearbox and bullwheel) went to Discovery to replace the Jubilee double chair which is a 47 year old Miner Denver. The YAN triple chairs are coming from the Christie II from Steamboat. The grips and the drive are new

Anybody know where the Von triple at Norway Mountain in Michigan came from? It's a Hall and I think it went up around '03/'04ish. Also curious about the Riblet Panorama triple at Pine Mountain, also in Michigan. Thanks!
