The outside armrests of the chairs have a plastic that is to me a telltale sign that the Bullet Express used to have bubbles (I have been on a number of Doppelmayr high speed quads that were formerly bubbled: Storm Peak and Sundown Express lifts at Steamboat and the Vista Bahn at Vail). Did it have bubbles at one point? Did any of Big White's other high speed quads used to have bubbles? I just want to clarify.

Excellerator at WB also has those armrests but I don't think it ever had bubbles.

Excellerator at WB was designed to have bubbles and this could be the case with Big White.

We never really considered bubbles, but Doppelmayr supplied the panelled outside armrests at no extra charge, in case we ever wanted to go to bubbles. We have them on the Ridge as well.
