I can say that I am aware of the fact that Big Sky is connected to at least three other areas: Moonlight Basin, Yellowstone Club, and Spanish Peaks.
Would you consider them four separate areas or one giant area? If you could merge all of them together, what would you call the place?
How many ski areas in the Lone Peak area are connected?

They are all very much connected, and if it weren't for the ownership issues, there's no reason they could not be seamlessly connected as one area. In a perfect world, Boyne, the most stable owner of the 4, would buy them all up and you'd have quite the ski resort.

I wonder what I would call it. "Lone Peak Resort," or "Big Sky" would be my first two choices.

Here's a map showing the extent of the lift network at Big Sky.
Red = Big Sky
Yellow = Spanish Peaks
