Who was it made by, why was it shortened, and what is left of it. Oh and as many pics as possible

Built by Yan in 1982. Shortened because Killington was attemting to complete the interconnect and in order to obtain the land offered to return the lower sunrise section to its natural state. The lift was underutilized and very long, 17 minutes or so. It was shortened to provide reliable mountain access to sunrise condo owners.

Why didn't they put in a high speed quad or gondola?

Some of the lower towers remain. The ones immediatly visible from rt 100 are gone.

Well the interconnect looks like it was supposed to happen in 1999 or so from what I've read in SAM. But from other sources, I have heard a lot of people didn't want this to happen. So I really don't know what's up with it right now, but connecting these two resorts would actually lower the value of the two resorts.

the interconnect was suspossed to be done in 98, but it has yet to be completed, i don't even think started, except for the permission to use the land
many pico fans like the mountian the way it is cuz its all classic skiing and had a good feel i guess...i dont know, ive only been to pico in the summer, and done the alpine slides...pretty fun :D

crazyskier they didn't want a highspeed because that was bearly used and is not where you want to be on the montain. Skyship is so close and that puts you in a much better spot.
