Hello all,
Not that any of you care, but there have been several on here that shared some advice with me about industry jobs and I was grateful. After having no luck securing a full time job as a lift electrical/mechanical technician, I have decided to take a seasonal job as a lift operator for the winter in hopes that the experience and contacts I'll gain might lead to a full time/year around position as a lift tech. I am very excited about the future, and what it holds for me and my family. Yes some people have called me crazy, but I'm ready and willing to take the risk. :shocking: Maybe I'll meet some of you on the mountain......

Cheers,
xman

Since you want to work your way into lift mech. It will take 2-3 years of lift ops before most bigger areas will take you on. Show them that you want to do the mech stuff and ask questions, I recall that most of the mechs at BC are pretty nice and will answer questions. However when a lift is down dont bug em. Just let them fix it. :)

I wish you the best of luck. Also the Upper Beaver Creek Express is a good chair too. If you want old school do Arrowhead Exp or Chair 6. But i highly doubt you will get either one.
