A cool video I found that shows the removal of the Dollar lift (Yan) and the Quarter Dollar lift (Hall), and shows the installation of the Dollar and Quarter Dollar high speed quads (Doppelmayr CTEC).

I'm pretty sure that Skier, one of the site admins, put that together.

I know it was taken from one of the Sun Valley webcams. I guess he must have collaborated the footage.

Correct, I just bookmarked the webcams and saved them periodically and put them together.

Cool video Skier, very nice work! By the way I got to wondering the other day and figured this was a good oppurtunity to ask does anyone know what happened to the old lifts that were removed? I'm guessing they got sent to the scrapper but I figured I'd ask.

Thanks for the help, and great job once again Skier, I hadn't seen that yet and must say good work!

I believe they were donated to the small Rotarun ski area outside of Haily, ID. The hill is operated by the low ski team and currently only has a platter lift. However, if I remember correctly, the ski team didn't have the funds to install the lifts and the Dollar HSQ reused the former towers of the Dollar double.
