Beaver Mountain looks at expansion

LOGAN, Utah (AP) -- Utah's northernmost ski resort is looking at expansion.

Beaver Mountain Ski Resort has asked the Cache County Planning Commission to review a request for a conditional-use permit. It calls for a 10-year plan, which includes additional buildings, a ski lift, utility upgrades and parking expansions at the resort in Logan Canyon.

Commissioners on Thursday approved a continuance so that Cache County can get feedback on the plans from state agencies, the U.S. Forest Service and fire district management.
