I'm sort of new to this forum, but certainly not to skiing. I have an amateur interest for chair lift, especially for detachable ones. I'm from the Northeast US, so my exposure to them is somewhat limited. Any way, I am wondering what is the oldest, still operating, Von Roll Type 101 equipped lift out there. I have just come back from a round trip on the Sniezka (Snezka, Schneekoppe) and that lift is from 1949 for the first section and 1950 for the second section. I'm just wondering if that is the oldest one, or if there is more. Thanks for you help.

Yes,Its the oldest one still in operation.The oldest Von Roll Vr101 in the USA is at Cedar Point.Built in 1961.Still running. Here are a few Pictures of vonRoll VR101s
