Roosevelt Island tram rebuild

This urban tram is now being extensively rebuilt.
The links below give you quite a bit of history and information on the project being done by Leitner-Poma.
The project cost is $25M with LP’s share at $15M.
Doppelmayr also bid on the project but came in about $2.2M higher in the first round, after rebidding Doppelmayr matched LP’s price but did not match the scope of work to be done.
Primary funds for the rebuild are being provided by the State.

Wasn't the new tram built last year? It's listed in the 2009 installation survey and I remeber it being in the 2009 projects for Leitner Poma.

But the construction was suspended... I can't remember the reason.

The rebuild is now complete and the tram is open.
