Hello I am new to this site. I would appreciate any input concerning the design of a lift over marsh grass to access a dock which is 1000lf from the back of a residence. The system would have a capacity of 800# or so. I am trying to make a simple cost effective system . I have the capabilities to construct all tower supports in the marsh as well as engineering for such. Any info for equipment to build the described unit as well as disign input would greatly appreciated.. The rope will be relatively level and approx. 6-7 ft above the marsh floor, I would like to keep the rope diameter as small as possible as well as the size of the wheels.

I have looked at this site all day and think I have enough knowledge to talk about this system. HELP!!!!!!

Thanks SKM
