I was looking through some of my old photos and thought, why not post a couple as trivia. Guess what lift and where for the first two. As a special bonus, guess who's inside the costume in the third picture...

I can identify the first photo as being the defunct Highline lift in a dry year.

First is old chair 10 at Vail. Second, no idea but there aren't that many Yan fixed quads around, especially with original line equipment. Third, hope he or she is getting paid well :)

I think the second one might be Devil's Fiddle at Killington?

You are correct, it's the old Highline, and the Devil's Fiddle, which was apparently removed two years ago. Not much of a loss, they never ran it anyway, it was kinda cool though because it had all original Yan equipment as far as I could tell. Last picture though, the guy inside that suit isn's paid nearly well enough for wearing that thing.

A friend skied Killington last week and he mentioned the top of Devil's Fiddle is still in place. Killington has a collection of defunct Yan-Box drive terminals. They could start a museum or maybe the Shelburne Museum near Burlington could add one to their collection.
