I have, but some years ago. We started at the gondola midstation on Newman Drew Road, a fun place to poke around as is. There's also a T-bar base just uphill from the midstation. We went hiker's right from there up a crossover trail towards the twin T-bar lines and the main base lodge, straight up those (steep!) lines then left to the gondola liftline, straight to the summit from there. The summit building is still there with the upper gondola terminal and a snack bar above. Stairs were falling apart and it looked like there had been bears then. Also an old snowcat up there. Looking at satelite views, it looks like there's a good logging road up the backside that covers less vertical. I've driven to what I think is the locked gate at the bottom of it, but haven't hiked it.

Is a hiker presumed to be heading up or down hill?
