Hello everybody. I am going to be making a sheave wheel, and probably other parts too a little later, in AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor. I am interested in detachable quad sheave dimensions. I need the outside diameter, inside diameter, size of the bolt/axle, depth of the groove, width, any other dimensions you can think of! I would really appreciate it, and I'll post my progress with images when I start doing this.

Bump.

Really?! Nobody can help me out here? Do any of you industry types have some technical drawings or even just measurements? I am just trying to play around with the AutoDesk programs and I thought it might be fun to draw an accurate sheave wheel to scale.

Charlie, I have a drawing somewhere of a tower with tower head and sheave trains and if I'm not mistaken it shows the measurements for the sheaves. I will have to track it down.

Thanks Allan!

and Jeff, anything you can find is appreciated!

I'll have to start this whole project soon. I'm just doing it for fun, but if anyone is interested, I'll post my drawings and progress.

Great schematic Allan, do you happen to have a Yan one running around by chance?

Thanks.

I couldn't find a YAN sheave in our drawings... just sheave trains/towers.

Ah no worries! Figured it was worth a shot. Thanks again!

If anyone else has one feel free to throw it up there!
