On the '08-'09 Gore brochure, the new lift is labeled as the Burnt Ridge Quad yet beneath it is a symbol indicating it is actually a triple. In another part of the brochure it says it is in fact a High-Speed Quad. So are they just loading it in a max of 3s? Does anyone know what the logic is behind this because I would think if it had anything with limiting capacity, they would simply have fewer chairs on the line and load it as a quad.

Welcome to the State Of New York and its government. The lift in fact is a normal high speed quad that loads four people at a time. Like most state made brochures, many things are often over looked in the editing process. Belleayre's Supercheif is listed as a fixed grip quad for example. Burt Ridge is however run at 800 feet per minute, which not being a lift mechanic I cannot understand and given the length of the lift and is rather annoying.

800fpm compared to 1100fpm.

Less wear and tear on the machine, Less stops / slows. Lower Operating costs.
