I think at this point it is safe to say that ski season is over for just about everyone on these forums. So I ask the question: How did this year go for everyone?

In my case, this year wasn't as good as last year was. However the reason for this was that I am now living in Michigan. Last season I was living at Keystone and it would be hard for Michigan to top Colorado. But on the bright side I did get to ski some new areas. I had never been to marquette mountain before this year. I also got to ski big sky mt which was awesome. Especially since I had never skied Montana before. All things considered it was a good year for me.

Does anyone else have anything that they would like to share about this ski season.

I had a great year! It didnt look good at first because of money issues, but someone gave me a season pass to kirkwood for christmas, so I was able to get about 20 days in, the last of which being last sunday. What a closing day! at least 10 feet of snow on the ground, tons of terrain open, good weather, just wonderful. I've re-newed my season pass for next year and looking forward to it!

Unfortunately, I only got out skiing once this year which is a big change from what I'm used to. Went to Blue Mountain in Ontario before Christmas. None of my friends seemed to go out this year either which was a big reason why I did not go out. Plus money would be nice  Usually I'm out there on a hill 20 or more times a winter.

Went once but it was great. So I guess it wasn't a completely wasted season.

I think I got in 27 days this year. I skied Stevens, Snoqualmie, and Crystal in Washington and Sugarloaf, Saddleback, Sunday River, and Black Mountain in Maine. Not a bad year but don't ever listen to anyone who tell you skiing on the East Coast is anywhere near the West. It's still fun, just a whole different experience.

My year wasn't very good due to breaking my wrist, however, I did make it to boyne highlands, Boyne Mountain, and Nub's Nob this year. I enjoyed when I got to ski, but I didn't get my board out at all. Last year was a better year visiting snowbasin, I'll have to make up for it next year.

The season was better to me than last. At work, it was a good year, with no major problems. I would enjoy working year round if I could ski more and have more family time. For skiing, I got out more, spent lots of time with my 3 year old on the Boyneland area, did some skiing in the western UP/WI, and skied at Killington and Mt Snow in VT. Maybe 8 'real' ski days and 10 father/daughter days. I'd like to ski more, but when I get to bed around 3-4 am, skiing before work dosent make my list, plowing my stupid long driveway usually does, or watching the 'Price is Right' does.

Fourteen times for me this year, mostly local resorts close to home in Salt Lake. Alta, Deer Valley, Park City, and Snow Bird. I did make my annual trip to Jackson Hole and was able to ski the new tram. Also spent a day of that trip skiing at Grand Targhee.

Just as North America is closing down, Australian ski resorts are opening. :w00t:

Mt Buller in the state of Victoria is opening their detachable 'Holden' six pack this weekend and all other resorts have snow too. Aussie snow cams

I don't recall resorts opening in April ever, so it looks like an excellent season ahead.

Eight days skiing the whole mountain (four Copper, one Monarch, one A-Basin, one Cooper Hill, and one Beaver Creek) and probably three times that skiing the parts my kids can handle at Copper, A-Basin, Cooper Hill, and Highlands (which is increasing on a daily basis :) ). Plus at least one run a week at work, doing line checks. I'll take it. I think we'll hit the Basin one more time before it's all over. Not a bad season in my book. EagleAce, I'm sure you'll be back at it next season....

I got 48 days and counting. This year started a little late and was ice until about march. But still I got in days at Snoqualmie, Crystal and Mission Ridge, which was a first for me.

Season was cr@p for me this year after the landslide took out the Hyak chair. I rode maybe 6 days with my season pass and hiked 4 other days. I hiked up again today and I'll be riding Alpental this weekend (they close tuesday on May5) then maybe I'll hike Alpental later in May/June when the snow gets thin at Hyak.

Mt Hood Meadows season pass, this weekend will be 13 for us, lowest days skied in over 5 years.

Going to Florida took away 2 weekends :crying:

Everything is just loop-de-loops and flibertyjibbit

This season I only downhill skied 3 times! Whistler wasn't so great this year which meant I did more nordic skiing.

I skied Whistler, Sun Peaks and Revelstoke - the three days I did were awesome, fresh powder snow except at Revelstoke which was good snow with clear skies.

I also nordic skied up Cypress Mountain and Mount Seymour and skied down the runs which was a lot of fun last weekend. The season isn't over for me yet though, I might nordic ski up Grouse in the next few weeks. We will see.

I skied 4 days a week up until the end where it was 6 days a week.... If you count the run down at the end of the day.... Overall this was my best winter ever.

Not as much snow as last year. But I can ski in the rain, as long as I'm out there! So.... AWESOME!!
