Hi,

I think the longuest chairlift in thr world (not a gondola) is the Slide Brook Express at Sugarbush in Vermont

It has 41 towers and last for 15 minutes. Yeah, it was running at 5.08 meters/sec on Sunday when I was there :D

Is it long enough? :

4-BGD, 13 km, 2.7 m/s, so 1 hour 30 to ride!

Website.

What were your feelings during the ride ?

It's so high. It's like a roller coaster. It goes up and then down, then after back up and after back down and finally one last time up and down :)

I wouldn't like to stay stuck on this chairlift :help:

Northwest at Bachlor is pretty long, but not that long at 2 miles

For a fg, Echo at Northstar has 41 towers and takes about 12 minutes

The last time I went on the Slide Brook Express was about 4 years ago, but I still can remember the feeling of wondering "How much longer until I get off?" :w00t:

That was one long chairlift! After I got up the first hill, I was about to open the bar, but then I see an entire valley the chairlift goes through! I forgot, but how many peaks did this chairlift go over?

13,000' makes the Flyer seem short, even though at 9900' it's longer than any other lift in the Summit/Eagle county area.

Telluride's Lift 10 (Sunshine Express) is 10,400' horizontal length and 10,544' slope length. When it was installed in 1986 it was the longest HS lift, but obviously, not any more.
