We are. The lifts run the same, and the runs ski the same, regardless of paint colour.

The chutes on the north side of Morningside Park are quite nice early, since one has to either ride that lift or hike up the ridge from Storm Peak to get to them. I've had many good runs through there.

It's probably easier to go there using the lift?

Probably, but the hike's not bad either and you usually beat the lift.

Considering that to even get to Morningside lift, you have to cross a meadow that's pretty flat.

I will say one thing about Steamboat. Sometimes you can be in a place where practically everything is white. Here's just a sample gallery of shots taken in areas that seem to have been touched by the White Witch :biggrin: . Note that some of these photos are large and some repetitive:
