Dan Brewster announced last night the Summit ski area will install the old Silver Fir Triple to replace the front side Dino chair, to run from the lodge to the same unload location. The Keechelus Riblet will be used to replace the backside dino and will unload on the higher. The triple will be installed for sure, the double on the backside they are going to try to do, but no guarantee's for next summer on that one. Most likely there will be no quad's in the plans for at least 10 years, if at all.

Another note. The riblet double chair to be re-installed for the backside chair will be retrofitted with a top drive.

I figured as much seeing as there's no power down at the bottom. Glad to see the new frontside lift will run in the old chair 1 line; I think that's a better alignment for skiing the terrain there. I wonder if they're going to sell the chairs off chair 1?
