Today I checked out Saddleback which is in the Rangeley Lakes region of Maine. There were maybe 30 cars in the parking lot. They have had a lot of new investment including a new 3 story lodge and 3 new Doppelmayr CTEC lifts.

I'll start with this year's new lift, the Kennebago quad which services the advanced terrain at the top.

Next is the Cupsuptic T-Bar, a classic Hall model. No fancy Doppelmayr T's, just a piece of wood.

Next is the Rangeley chair, the main lift on the mountain. It was originally a Mueller but got new Borvig chairs at some point and new Doppelmayr CTEC terminals in 2004.

The Sandy lift is a 1967 Hopkins double. It services the terrain park near the lodge.

Finally, the Beginner lift, South Branch. It's a 2004 Doppelmayr CTEC quad.

That Hopkins double is a nice looking lift. Thanks for the pics! I am surprised to see an old T-Bar like that still in use!
