Not good news.
An avalanche has been reported in the Brighton Ski resort area. Two people are possibly buried in the slide. It is not known if the avalanche is in or out of bounds at the Brighton resort.

Better news.
KSL News) Two people were rescued from an avalanche in the back country south-east of the Brighton Ski Resort.
The avalanche occurred around 1:30 p.m. in backcountry in the Back Door area at Pioneer Peak, which is south-east of the Brighton Ski Resort.
Both people were trapped, one partially, but were able to escape. Both are in good condition.
Search and rescue has since been canceled.
Officials categorized the avalanche as a Class 3. A Class 5 avalanche is the largest.
