So I guess it was you who left the staff hats behind. Sorry I missed you.

It didn't co-operate first thing that morning, I didn't get a pic of Gord bouncing a wrench of a cabin roof. I'll save you a hat. Are you on the list for Kelowna this spring ?

seilbahnbuilder: You probably would have been more impressed if Whistler had a bit more snow too. This season is rather.. average for the coast mountains. Too cold to get decent precipitation it seems. Nice pictures everyone! I can't wait to ride the P2P. I might also go to revelstoke later this year so I can get some lift pics there.

You live in Vancouver but you haven't been in Whistler to ride the P2P, yet? ;)

The snow base of Grouse Mountain etc. seems to be quite good, but unfortunately not powdery...

I think I'm due for Kelowna, but given the budget I don't think anyone will be going. We'll see.

Seeing this gondola makes me kind of think that a similar system could be employed to make Keystone's Bowls in the Outback lift serviced to ease the existing high speed quad (that services the below treeline area)'s line. :helpsmilie:

I HIGHLY doubt Vail Resorts would spend the money for one of those things.

The closest thing to the P2P in North America would be the Funitel at Squaw wouldn't it? A normal gondola is enough of an investment, but these things are so much more.
