Alright it's nearly Playoff time! This is a topic for all the rants you may wish to express, and any random hockey related Discussions.

The race for the Final playoff spot in the west is heating up! The Edmonton Oilers are looking strong now after winning 3 games in a row and upsetting pheonix in what was suspected to be their biggest game of the year infront of the 30 th sellout of the season! What are your guys favourite teams upto or as of now how are the playoffs looking in your eyes?

I don't have a favourite, but I generally am a Canucks fan (is it legal to say that anymore??) My wife is a Leafs fan, so it's always interesting at my house when those two meet.
It appears that Canada still rules the ice- check out Colorado's recent swing up north. Avs vs Habs- Habs win. Avs vs Senators- Sens by a shutout. Avs vs Leafs- it's T.O. again. Go figure...

Go Blues!

I have no idea why i just like them

Just realized why...

A while ago I was in St Louis for a Chess tournament in Peoria Illinois (My Dad and I drove there) and on the way there the only radio station we could get on the rental car had a Blues game on it. It was the first time I had accutually listened to hockey and after watching a bunch of Olylimpic hockey both live (man was that cool) and on TV I watch hockey on the TV whenever I can. We really don't have a good hockey team here in SLC but i may go see them next year.

I'm not normally a Calgary fan but they sure put up one hell of an effort! That was probably one of the most intense stanley cup games in recent memmory good job Flames and Congrat's Tampa!

I'm not supposed to root for a Canadian team, being American, but I was a Calgary fan for the last couple weeks... I agree that that was one of the best finals series I've seen in a whille. I really thought the Flames had it in Game 6, but it was not to be :crying: If nothing else, it was cool to see Dave Andreychuck hoist the cup after trying for 22 years.

I didnt root for calgary because they beat the sharks. They were clearly the better team in the conference finals, but they didnt seem to show the same energy in the finals. Like everyone said, that was one hell of a series. Too bad it isnt always like that, but then again playoff hockey is always good. Now to the nba i guess. I actually watched an nba game after about 3 years off. Man it looks like crap, but GO DETROIT!!!
