2# brass hammer or something similar.
"Maybe there is no Heaven. Or maybe this is all pure gibberish—a product of the demented imagination of a lazy drunken hillbilly with a heart full of hate who has found a way to live out where the real winds blow—to sleep late, have fun, get wild, drink whisky, and drive fast on empty streets with nothing in mind except falling in love and not getting arrested . . . Res ipsa loquitur (it speaks for it self). Let the good times roll." HT

I use a 2-3lb deadblow hammer and a 30ish inch prybar, the hammer is good to hit the assy, rope, sheaves and ladder rungs.
I use the prybar to put between he sheaves and rope and force the sheaves to spin by hand or use it as a punch to knock ice out from the inside of the assy. Sometimes that is the only way to reach the stubborn stuff that you can't hit with a hammer. We might get into it again this Sunday, Monday. The weather is caling for a wet storm with rapidly dropping temps again. YIPPEE

Yep wet storm... rain all day, lost RPD's around 9am going to ground somewhere. It's 12:30AM and I have the lift turning tonight just so I don't have to f*$K with the ice in the morning. Sometimes just running all night can solve some next day hassle... Yes Aug the ole' brass hammer.
What now?
