Hello all, I'm starting a small terrain park in Illinois. I have about a 300' run at about a 25 degree pitch. I may be able to grade it down to a 20 degree angle. I want to use an electric motor for the tow rope. Does anyone have any idea as to the size motor I can use? I only have single phase electric, but I do have 220.
If your wondering where the park will be, it will be located in Marseilles. Thats just south of I-80 in between Otawa and Morris.
Any help would be greatly appriciated! Thanks, Steve Flynn

Anywhere around 15 to 30 hp should work fine depending on the speed of the tow. I would suggest if you are going to build a fast one to get a soft starter or you will rip your customers arms off.
