Gosh - I thought that the technology in this thing was the main show.
Do you have any idea how complex a task this was? Makes a lift seem like a toothbrush.

It's absolutely amazing tech, especially it's ability to balance itself on ice and snow. However, the dog jokes are just to tempting to let go.

Kinda reminds me of Ray Bradbury's Mechanical Dog. However, this one only has half the number of legs. But still I imagine that a mule would be cheaper if it's purpose is to just be a pack "animal." Plus you only have to feed a mule oats.
In any case, it's an amazing piece of machinery, and as Bud said, it does make a chairlift look like a toothbrush.
